Intro to Screen Acting

About
this Course

Once a week session designed for actors who are new to the screen, or those returning to training who want to build a more reliable foundation on camera.

This course is an immersive journey into Screen Acting, helping you to identify and remove the blocks between you and the lens.

Rooted in our unique philosophy of “Ownership”—a discipline designed to liberate the actor from judgment, fear of failure, and performance anxiety.

Curriculum

What we cover
in this course

01

Ownership

Your unique personal presence on screen, moving from "seeking permission" to placing the authority back where it belongs: with the actor

02

Act Like a Child

Reconnecting with a sense of play to strip away self-consciousness and stay present in the moment

03

The Camera as Partner

Understanding your relationship with the camera, including a command of the self tape & audition processes

04

Concept Work

A new way to learn lines that bypasses the "rote" memory trap

05

Scene Analysis

Breaking down the script so that the text serves the actor, and not the other way around

06

Review & Recalibrate

Learning to watch your own work with an objective eye—focusing on clarity rather than self criticism
